Tayo ang Taumbayan,Tayo ang Pagbabago!
This is one of the most thought-out decisions I’ve ever made, and I am proud to be voting for the candidate with the platform and conviction I think our country needs. Lets go, Noynoy Aquino!

HUMMING IN MY UNIVERSE By Jim Paredes (The Philippine Star) Updated May 09, 2010 12:00 AM

Granted that the PCOS machines work and the votes are counted honestly, it will be a historic and a happy exercise that we will go through as a nation when we…

Scenes from Friday’s big miting d’ avance! Now we pray, vote, guard the vote, and pray some more! The taumbayan yearning for change gather in droves… change starts now!

This is how Comelec plans to carry out our country’s first automated elections on Monday, May 10, 2010.

A nonpartisan prayer for discernment and grace composed especially for the May 2010 elections as we choose empowering, principled, and competent leaders of our beleaguered nation.

SENATOR BENIGNO C. AQUINO III

Dear Senator Aquino:

Greetings!

We, the undersigned members of the Indigenous Peoples/ Indigenous Cultural Communities coming from different sectors of our society, strongly believe in your platform of government (Transformational Leadership, Economy, Government Service, Gender Equality, Peace and Order and Environment).

We shall forever remember your mother, the late President Corazon C. Aquino, and her heart for IPs/ ICCs, as shown in her efforts towards the signing of the Cordillera Peace Pact, and the negotiations that bolstered the Mindanao Peace Process. These led to the creation of the Cordillera Administrative Region and the full implementation of the Tripoli Agreement of 1976. Guided by her example, we believe you are the best vanguard to promote and protect our rights as IPs/ ICCs.

We are confident that your leadership will formulate and implement national policies, with our cultural integrity and best interests at heart. We are one with you in your fight against corruption and restoring public confidence in government offices and institutions. We believe that your example of honest and transparent governance will propel the Philippines to economic development and lift us out of our poverty and strife.

Finally, we are assured the promise of effective government programs for free and inclusive education, access to quality job opportunities and universal health care will soon become reality for IPs and ICCs all over the country.

Mabuhay ang susunod na Presidente ng Pilipinas, Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III!
